Delete your Savvy Funds account

Applies to the web app at savvyfundsapp.com and the Savvy Funds Android app (developer: Maniot Ventures). Last updated: October 4, 2026

You can delete your account and everything linked to it at any time. It takes four taps in the app, or one email.

Option 1 — in the app (immediate)

Open Savvy Funds and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Scroll to Privacy & data and tap Delete my account & data.
Confirm with Yes, delete everything.

Deletion happens right away and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — by email

Send an email to privacy@savvyfundsapp.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on your account (that's how we verify it's you — we never ask for your password). We confirm by reply and delete the account within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your account: email address and password.
Your profile: display name, XP, streak, lesson progress, practice portfolio and settings stored on our servers.
Your league seats and duels.
Messages you sent or received in the app.
Referral records that involve you.
Your daily-reminder (push) subscription and your weekly-email subscription.
Progress saved on the device you deleted from.

What is kept

Anonymous usage events (which lesson was started, which quiz was passed). They are keyed to a random device ID, never to your email or name, and stay only as aggregate statistics.
Feedback you sent stays, but is unlinked from your account so it can no longer identify you.
Weekly backup copies of our database may still contain your data for up to 60 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten.

Deleting only some data

Daily reminders: switch them off under Profile → Notifications; the push subscription is removed.
Weekly lesson email: switch it off in Settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any of the emails.
Display name: clear it in Settings to go back to appearing as "Learner" plus a short code.
Progress on this device only: clear the site data in your browser or the app's storage in Android settings; your account on the server is untouched.
A copy of your data before you delete: Settings → Download my data.
