Terms of Use
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These are the rules for using Savvy Funds â the website at savvyfundsapp.com, the installable web app, and the Savvy Funds Android app (together, the "App"). By using the App you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the App.
1. Who we are
The App is built and operated by Savvy Funds App ("we", "us"). Contact: support@savvyfundsapp.com.
2. Education, not advice
Savvy Funds teaches personal-finance concepts through short lessons, quizzes and games. Nothing in the App is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment. Lessons use real-world figures (interest rates, prices, tax thresholds) that change over time; we keep them current but cannot promise they are complete or up to date for your situation. Before making real money decisions, do your own research or talk to a licensed professional.
The practice portfolio, XP, streaks, chests, leagues and every other game feature are simulations. They involve no real money, have no cash value, and can be changed or reset at any time.
3. Your account
- You can use most of the App without an account. An account (email + password) is only needed to sync progress across devices and to use social features such as leagues and messages.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone or pick a display name that is misleading, offensive, or someone else's name or brand.
- You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account).
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the App to harass, threaten or spam other learners (including through messages, display names or duels), to break the law, to interfere with the App or its servers, to scrape or copy the lessons for redistribution, or to reverse-engineer the App beyond what the law allows. We may remove content, restrict features or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Content and ownership
The lessons, glossary, quizzes, graphics, code and everything else that makes up the App belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial learning. Short quotes for reviews, teaching or commentary with attribution are fine.
What you write in the App â feedback, messages, a display name â stays yours. By sending feedback you let us use it, without payment or credit, to improve the App.
6. Availability and changes
The App is free. We may add, change or remove features, lessons or game mechanics at any time, and we may suspend or stop the App. We try to keep it running smoothly but we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we may lose data despite our backups â keep your own copy of anything you care about (Settings â Download my data).
7. Third-party services and links
The App links to outside sites (for example, bank or broker websites mentioned in lessons, YouTube videos, Google Play). Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the App or reliance on anything in it â including financial decisions you make â and in any case our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us to use the App, which is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places the limitations apply only as far as the law permits.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe are harming the App or other learners. Sections 2, 5, 8 and 10 survive the end of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the European Union or elsewhere, you keep the protections that the mandatory laws of your country of residence give you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the App evolves. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above; material changes will be highlighted in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new terms.
